Global technology company ASUS has announced plans to showcase its latest AI-powered commercial technology solutions at the inaugural edition of GITEX Kenya, set to take place in Nairobi from May 19 to 21, 2026.

The company said the exhibition will provide a strategic platform to engage with businesses, government agencies and technology stakeholders as Kenya accelerates its digital transformation agenda.

ASUS will exhibit a range of AI-enabled commercial devices designed to improve productivity, strengthen data security and support modern hybrid work environments.

Speaking ahead of the event, Tolga Özdil, ASUS Regional Commercial Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META), said the company views Kenya as a key gateway to the African technology market.

“We’re excited to be a part of the inaugural edition of GITEX Kenya. The country plays an important role in ASUS’s commercial long-term vision for the African market,” he said.

He added that the growing adoption of artificial intelligence, cloud technologies and sustainable digital infrastructure across Africa is creating new opportunities for businesses to modernize operations.

At the exhibition, ASUS will unveil its latest commercial lineup led by the ExpertBook series and advanced workstation PCs.

One of the flagship devices on display will be the newly introduced ExpertBook Ultra (B9406), an ultra-light AI-powered laptop built for professionals requiring high performance, portability and enhanced security.

The device weighs below one kilogram and measures just 10.9mm thin, while integrating up to 50 TOPS NPU performance for on-device AI processing. ASUS said this capability allows users to run AI applications locally without relying heavily on cloud connectivity or compromising battery efficiency.

The company noted that the device has been designed with enterprise-grade protection features aimed at organizations where cybersecurity and data privacy are critical priorities.

Additional products expected to feature at the ASUS stand include the ExpertBook B5405, P5405, P440 All-in-One PC and the P500 ExpertCenter Mini Tower.

Beyond hardware, ASUS will also spotlight AI ExpertMeet, an AI-powered collaboration platform developed to streamline meetings through automated summaries, live transcription and intelligent productivity support.

The company said its latest innovations complement Kenya’s AI Strategy 2025-2030, which seeks to position the country as a regional leader in artificial intelligence research and adoption.

ASUS added that its commercial technology ecosystem is built around AI-first innovation, sustainability and cloud-ready solutions aimed at helping organizations adapt to the evolving digital economy.

Visitors attending GITEX Kenya will have an opportunity to experience ASUS technologies at Hall 2, Stand B45 during the three-day exhibition in Nairobi.
